Your visit to Botswana will be a richly rewarding game viewing experience as you travel through and in this untamed and unspoiled land. Explore the Okavango Delta’s numerous waterways and its wildlife either by mokoro (dugout canoe) or motor boat. Uncover the wildlife found within the delta such as the hippopotomus, lechwe and an abundance of bird life. Continue to the Moremi Game Reserve is a private reserve within the Okavango Delta and is home to many animal species. Spend your mornings and afternoon in search of Africa’s Big 5. Continue your exploration of Botswana as you move to the Savute region of the Chobe National Park. The Savute region, although desert-like, is unique and no less enchanting than the other Botswana regions with large herds of elephant and lion prides.

DAY 01
Welcome to Johannesburg!
On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met by your eAfrica representative who will transfer you to your hotel.

The balance of the day will be at leisure.

Dinner will be under own arrangements.

Overnight at your Hotel.

DAY 02
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning, followed by check out. Your eAfrica Safaris representative will collect you from the hotel and transfer you to OR Tambo International Airport for your flight to Maun, Botswana (booked under own arrangements).

On arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be met and transferred by air to your lodge located in the Okavango Delta.

On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your lodge representative and transferred by 4x4 safari vehicle to the lodge. Enjoy a light lunch on arrival at the lodge followed by some relaxation time.
High Tea will be served on the lodge deck before departing for your afternoon activity. Game viewing in the Okavango Delta is done either by motorised boat or mokoro poled by your guide. The mokoro is locally made dugout canoe which enables for easy access through the Delta’s many channels and will allow you to get close to the wildlife. Game such as lechwe and reed bucks, rarely seen on land but will certainly be your highlight as you move through the channels on the Delta.

Return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Dinner will be served at the lodge dining area.

DAY 03
Your day starts with an early morning wake up call, followed by some tea or coffee before heading off on your morning game activity.

Enjoy a morning game drive either by motorised boat, mokoro or walking safari. On your walking safari through the Delta you will spot amazing little things such as insects, animal tracks, etc. You may combine a walking safari with a return to the lodge by mokoro.

Return to your lodge for brunch and some relaxation time.

High tea will be served before your afternoon activity.

You may discuss with your ranger once again if you would like to go out by motorised boat or mokoro.

Return to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 04
Your last morning in the Okavango Delta starts with an early morning wake up call. Enjoy an early morning coffee or tea served at the lodge before departing for your final activity in the Okavango Delta.

Enjoy a delicious and hearty brunch on return to the lodge followed by check out.

Your lodge representative will transfer you to the airstrip for your light aircraft transfer to your lodge in the Moremi Reserve.

On arrival at the airstrip you will be met by your lodge representative and transferred by 4x4 safari vehicle to the lodge.

On arrival at the lodge you will be met and offered a short orientation of the lodge. Enjoy a light lunch followed by some relaxation time.

High Tea will be served at the lodge deck before departing for an afternoon game drive.

Depart the lodge accompanied by your knowledgeable and skilled ranger and head into the Moremi Reserve for an afternoon game drive. Your sightings could include viewing of lion, leopard, cheetah and the endangered African Wild Dog.

Return to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 05
Your morning starts with an early wakeup call and some coffee or tea before starting your morning game activity.

Depart the lodge accompanied by your ranger for your early morning game drive which takes you out and among the wild landscape. Expect to see a variety of wildlife from big cats, to hippo, rhino, antelope, giraffe and buffalo. The Moremi Reserve is well known for being the predator capital of the world and is the only place within Botswana where the Big Five can be seen.

Return to the lodge for brunch followed by some relaxation time or explore the lodge facilities.

A delectable high tea will be served at the lodge deck before departing on your afternoon game drive. You may discuss with your ranger where to continue your search and your wildlife wishes. The afternoon game drive is just as impressive and exciting as the morning game drives. The animals and birds come out from their siesta and the bush becomes alive with sights and sounds.

Return to the lodge for dinner. You may have an opportunity to freshen up before dinner.

DAY 06
Start your day with an early morning wakeup call and coffee or tea before heading out on your morning game drive accompanied by your ranger. Enjoy your last game drive in the Moremi Reserve as you search for wildlife you might not have seen on the previous game drives.

Return to the lodge for brunch followed by check out.

You will be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to the Savute.

On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by a lodge representative and transferred by 4x4 safari vehicle to the lodge.

Enjoy a light lunch on arrival at the lodge followed by check in and some relaxation time.

High Tea will be served at the lodge deck before departing for an afternoon game drive accompanied by your knowledgeable ranger.

Game drives are conducted in open 4x4 safari vehicles in the Savute area and are centred around drives throughout the Savute area including a visit to the Savute Marsh and view the historic presence of the Savute Channel.

On return to the lodge you will have the opportunity to freshen up before dinner.

Dinner will be served at the lodge dining area.

Overnight at your Lodge. (B, L, D)

DAY 07
Start your day with an early morning wakeup call, some coffee or tea and pastries before your ranger takes you out for your morning game drive.

Morning game drives will take you out among the largest populations of elephants. The big cats are always around too and depending on the season, you may also experience the great migrations of zebra and antelope.

Return to the lodge for a hearty brunch followed by some relaxation time or explore the lodge facilities.

High Tea will be served on the lodge deck. You may discuss with your ranger your wishes and expectations for the afternoon game drive.

Return to the lodge in the early evening.

Dinner will be served at the lodge dining area.

DAY 08
Early morning wakeup call for your last morning game drive. Your ranger will have one last chance to impress you with his skills and instincts for the Savute area.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast on return to the lodge, followed by check out.

A lodge representative will assist with your transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Maun.

On arrival at Maun Airport, connect with your return flight to Johannesburg.
On arrival at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport you will need to connect with your international departure flight.
